The New SAP Concur NetSuite Integration
NetSuite has been a trusted SAP Concur partner for over a decade. In that time, technology and customer needs have evolved by leaps and bounds. To keep up with these big changes, we’ve made several improvements to the NetSuite connector, which are available now to enterprise and small business customers in the U.S. This new connector replaces the legacy version and brings enhanced functionality, faster setup, and better overall reliability.
Why a new connector?
Previous versions of the connector were hindered by lengthy implementation times, frequent posting errors, and a lack of transaction reprocessing capabilities that limited control and efficiency for users. To address these challenges, we’ve made substantial improvements that deliver a more reliable, tightly integrated solution with a tailored, streamlined user experience for finance teams of all sizes.
What can customers expect from this new integration?
The new NetSuite integration features an intuitive in-product experience with real-time data synchronization. Expense report data is automatically posted to NetSuite upon removal and ensures consistent information across both systems. Plus, master data synchronization ensures Accounts, Lists, and Users remain consistent, minimizing errors from data discrepancies.
If an error does occur, the new connector’s built-in resiliency helps mitigate to keep customers up and running. Failed API calls, for example, will automatically retry and ensure that temporary network or system issues no longer impact the posting process. In cases of data mismatches, detailed error messages and remediation steps are returned to the user. This Audit Trail empowers users to recall, correct and resubmit failed transactions, significantly reducing downtime and support escalations.
Configuration has also been simplified. Activation Coaches and Integration Consultants will guide customers through a standardized integration, allowing them to connect their SAP Concur account to NetSuite, map expense and payment types, configure employee reimbursements, and synchronize user profiles in just a few hours. This self-service approach reduces dependency on IT departments and promotes efficient onboarding, helping both small and enterprise businesses make the most of their resources.
When can customers start using the new NetSuite connector?
The new NetSuite connector is currently available to small business and enterprise customers with Concur Expense in the United States. Concur Invoice support will be added in Q3 2025 and additional enhancements and feature rollouts will follow. We also plan for an international release in Q4 2025 so more of our customers can leverage improved error handling, security, and configurability.
